TechAmerica's Prestigious Innovator Award
for Consumer Electronics

WHAT:
The 50th Annual TechAmerica Innovator Awards honors the innovators of technology. The TechAmerica Innovator Award for Consumer Electronics has been awarded to Stanley Yang, CEO of NeuroSky. The NeuroSky brain-computer interface technology in MindSet translates the brain's electrical activity into a signal which can be converted by computer into an action.

WHY:
Under the leadership of Mr. Yang, NeuroSky, the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of consumer-ready Brain Computer Interface (BCI) technologies, have made history by introducing their proprietary headsets that literally allow everyday users to control devices with their minds. MindSet is the first consumer headset that provides various, real-time mental state information on the user based on his brainwave patterns. MindSet was launched in the consmer market this summer and the free NeuroSky Software Development Kit is available for download.
